I seriously love the creativity here. The cameos are endless (Sinbad in the delivery room had me on the floor). Great one-liners. Dan Ackroyd in peak form. Chris Farley at his best. Just a blast all around.

shareThe dialogue of the aliens with their technical scientific terms for everything is really outstanding, must have taken a while to get it all written to that extent. And kudos to Aykroyd and Curtin for staying in character like that throughout.
Hilarious movie. I usually don't like David Spade's work but I think he's great in this kissing up to Michael McKean's character which is a lot of fun.
One of my favorite Beldar quotes when threatening his daughter's suitor: "If I did not fear incarceration from human authority figures, I would terminate your life functions by applying sufficient pressure to your blunt skull so as to force its collapse!"
