Anyone else cry during this film

I haven't watched this since I was a kid, I had this on video until my friend never gave it back. I loved it as a kid, it was one of my favorites, then I just stopped watching it, I caught it again and it was the most nostalgic film Ive watched for some time.

Yeah I don't normally cry at films but the last scene when George eargerly wiats to hear Dennis just had me in tears, I really love this movie and I'm wondering now what happened to all the child actors in it. :)

I had the exact same feeling. Loved it when I was a kid. Stumbled upon it here on IMDb and could not believe the bad rating. Watched it again, and still cant believe the rating. Personally I gave it 8/10 It's a fun little movie and has that 90s nostalgia feel

That scene also made me tear up a bit, when he hears the rattling cans "Martha! Mitchell!" And also then one before, where Dennis is missing and George is sitting and feeling guilty, but then he drives out and looks for him

No, but then again I don't cry during a lot of movies. As a kid I bawled my eyes out at the end of "All Dogs go to Heaven" every time, and in "Benji" when the dad said they can't have him because he might have diseases, I knew that this movie had its sad moments but it never seemed worthy of turning on the water works, even now, those moments are just something that kind of leave me in that 'awe' feeling.

Omg, yes! I was bawling at the part where Mr. Wilson yells at Dennis then he runs away. Then Mr. Wilson is guilty and goes out and looks for him. :(

Unconcerned by what others may think, I, a 72 year old man, have always loved this movie. The chemistry between Mr. Wilson, played by the wonderful Walter Matthau, and Dennis is the rock upon which this film rests.
Christopher Lloyd's turn as Switchblade Sam is at times very scary, and at other times, very incompetent at his trade. And that is the comedy of this movie, besides the incredible situations Dennis puts Mr Wilson in, although without malice or anger.
But, there is one sequence in this film that soars above all else.
The heart touching, tear inducing scene when Mrs. Wilson reads "Winkin' Blinkin and Nod" to Dennis and you see how he is connected to his parents through the passages in the poem. Beautiful moment.
