Pretty cool after seeing this movie so many times, including at the Theater back in '93, it's the first time I noticed the IP MAN.

Of course I had no idea who the IP Man was until recently watching Ip Man 1 & 2. Though he's credited as the YIP man lol. Still cool, the guy even kinda looks like Donnie Yen (No, I'm not being racist lol.) Although in the pictures after IP Man w/Bruce Lee he looks real, real old. Still pretty cool that after all these years something new gets added to the viewing of this pic.

His name is Yip Man. I knew about this years ago because I followed Bruce Lee when I was still a teenager.
I don't quite know why the know why they went for "Ip" man in the movies.

Yes, donnie yen DOES look like Yip. It's not being racist. That was partly THE REASON why they casted him. It wasn't just because Donnie was a good martial artist.

Because of copyright issues, there was already a movie called Yip Man coming out.

Mandarin vs Cantonese, English spelling. Yip Man would be noted under Cantonese movies, Ip Man under Mandarin titles.
