Am I the only one who wishes this movie would take place during the Covid pandemic?

I feel this movie would've been a lot more interesting to watch if it had took place during the Covid pandemic.

To be REALLY clever, you make the main character a white leftist marching across L.A. lecturing non-whites on how to live their lives. By the end, the audience cheers when the cops gun him down.

Definitely not! I feel that the time period that this movie was made was perfect. No PC bullshit, liberals weren't as out and proud as they are now, "the world wasn't going to end"....apparently, as it will today..... I think making a movie about D-FENS in the plandemic age, would be wasted on someone like D-FENS. Michael Douglas played the character like a man's man. IF this were made today, it wouldn't work as liberals would be triggered by the slightest thing.
