Question about velociraptors (Muldoon spoiler)
Velociraptors were great pack-hunters but were they more effective hunters than the 'cat family' (lions, jaguars, cheetahs etc) or just different? What about other carnivorous animals?
The way Muldoon was hunted and killed by a raptor suggests how effective they were. Muldoon saw a raptor ahead of him then was ambushed by a raptor hiding next to him in the bushes. Given Muldoon's dino knowledge/experience etc, he was no match for the raptors.
