Should the hand be removed...digitally?

I recently came across a interesting bit of trivia.

There is a scene in Jurassic Park where you see a crew person's hand fumbling around with one of the animatronic dinosaurs in a doorway.

I have missed it or overlooked it for years. Now that I know about it, I see it every time I watch it.

I know people got tired of George Lucas going in and fiddling with the Star Wars movies digitally.

What do people thing about removing the arm of the crewman digitally.

I am not suggesting we change the movie or add better looking dinosaurs or enhance the environment.

I just would like to see that mistake corrected.

What are people's thoughts on this?

Leave it alone.

Leave it alone. The idea of removing/replacing things in older movies digitally should be removed. Digitally.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

Out of curiosity where in the movie do we see the hand?

Hey! You're not old enough to drink! Now go and die for your country!!!

Well if they did that they'd probably have to digitally correct the dozens of Goof found in the Goofs section!

No I wouldn't bother. I refuse to buy the altered "Star Wars" dvds, however I do have the digitally touched-up "Star Trek" original series dvds. And the "E.T." disc with both versions, thankfully Spielberg swore to never do that again. For the most part I'm against it, keep it as it was, we'll all live.

(If I had to do ONE digital fix in "Star Wars" I would slightly clean up the area underneath Luke's landspeeder.)

Spielberg has said he won't ever do what Lucas has done after what happened with ET. He will never do it.

Cena doesn't overcome any odds. He's a wrestler with a God Mode cheat on.

If you start removing things like that, then where would you stop?

What about removing the plant pot when the car gets rolled by the t rex?

The hand that attempts to stop Joffrey from falling from the raptor cage?

This micropones appearing inside the jeeps in the dilophoraurus scene?

The cameramans reflection in the control room door?

The hesitant waiter in the dining room scene?

The disapearing raptor when being eaten by the t rex?

The camera equipment behind malcolm in the jeeps in the first t rex paddock scene?

Dr Woo looking straight into the camera when the scientists arrive in the lab?

The list is endless....

They actually did remove that one digitally for the 3D version.

The arm should be removed digitally. Although I've never noticed it. I tried looking for it and still didn't. If there's a mistake like that in a movie, it should always be corrected. Why would anybody want to see an arm move the raptor's tail? lol
