Rexy wasn't really stalking the herd, she was stalking Alan, Lex and Tim, she would've eaten them if the gallimimuses didn't change direction and caught her attention. The glance she gives at the end means she knows they are there behind the tree.

shareThe bushes she hides in was quite a bit from the herd before they changed direction, she was much closer to the characters, and she gives them a look while eating.
shareI don't think she was looking at them nor did she see them. If she did she would have chased after them. Also if she was chasing Alan, Tim and Lex she would have come out of the bushes long beforehand and would have probably eaten them.
shareShe was eating so they weren't her priority at the moment just like at the end with the raptors. She could've revealed herself earlier but like any predator she takes her time to attack. She can't be sure how fast they run and she doesn't want them to escape her.
shareExcept Alan, Tim and Lex were initially walking away from her, they would not have even been within range of her if it weren't for the Galliminus. The T-Rex didn't know they were there, either she was waiting to ambush the Galliminmus so she was resting in those bushes and she came out when she saw the Gallimimus. She also couldn't see Alan, Lex and Tim because A) They were behind the log and B) they weren't moving.

shareThat isn't how predators act. They stop when they have taken down something. Another animal could steal her meal while she is away so she can't just leave it. That is why Alan, Lex and Tim could get out of that place. She had no interest in them at the time. She eventually went after them though which is why she shows up at the end.
shareNo actually she entered the visitors center because she followed Raptor #2 in there. There were no other animals around to steal her meal, all she had to do was just walk over about 50 feet, eat them then come back and finish the Gallimimus. There is no indication she saw them.
shareThere could be a smaller dinosaur or even another Rex or something else hiding in the bushes the same way she did waiting to steal the gallimimus from her.
shareThere was only one T-Rex on the Island and even if another Dinosaur came out to try to take the Gallimimus it wouldn't get very far as the Gallimimus would have been way too heavy and the T-Rex would then catch up to the dinosaur and now would have 5 meals (The gallimimus, Alan, Lex, Tim and the other dinosaur)
shareThe Rex doesn't know there aren't possibly other T-Rexes around. By her instincts it makes more sense she isn't the only one.
shareThe Rex also has no reason to think there are other Rex's around as she hasn't encountered them so therefore from her perspective another T-Rex stealing her food is a nonissue. For all she knows she is the dominant organism on the Island.

shareErr no. Doesn't make sense for numerous reasons. Why would she be stalking them? She's not the shark from Jaws 4: The Revenge. They are but 3 insignificant humans to her who wouldn't even make as much of a meal as one gallimimus. She isn't the smartest animal either; she sleeps, eats, and hunts, she doesn't stalk. And if she can now see them from behind the log then her vision has since improved from earlier because she couldn't see Lex and Alan when they were kneeling behind the truck closer to her.
All that happened here is that the T-rex was wandering about, probably looking for food, and happened upon the herd of gallimimuses.
I don't know why she would be stalking them but she keeps showing up exactly where the humans are on this huge island. Even at the tour center. Seems like she follows them to me.

The island isn't that big. And why would the T-rex have a particular obsession with hunting the humans, when there's a whole herd of gallimimus nearby? The gallimimus are bigger than the humans and have more meat on them, which is obvious at a glance. The T-rex just wants to eat, it doesn't have a particular vendetta toward the humans.

The T-Rex was not hunting the humans at that point. Not even sure it was hunting the Gallimimus, but simply got lucky that the herd moved near her.
The humans are walking up a hill in the middle open grassland, which is kind of dumb in and of itself considering how many predators are on the island. The herd was running from their right to left, but a mountain was directly in front of them, so they shifted to their left which was right at the humans. The humans run straight back down the hill, and hid under the log as the rest of the herd past them. The T-Rex then emerges from the forest which was on their left when they were walking up the hill, and grabs a Gallimimus that was toward the back of the herd. The humans are already hiding behind the log, so even if the t-rex had seen them before, it had lost them by that point.
Most likely the T-Rex was walking near there, or even resting and heard that Gallimimus approaching, and waited for the perfect moment to strike, which is the back of the herd and not the front.
