Alan Sounded Like A Terrorist / Kidnapper On The Phone lol

I don't know if any of you guys noticed this but I noticed it ever since I was a kid but always forgot to post about it.

The part where they all get seprated and Hammond doesn't know where the kids are and he finally gets Alan on the phone and asks, "How are the children?!?!" Alan says, "The children are fine" but his voice sounds menacing and evil like he kidnapped them or something and he's holding them hostage lol I wonder why Alan said it in that tone of voice.

That’s very simple to answer. The reason why Grant was talking that way was because he’d been through a hell of a lot by that point in the film - life threatening situations and, to put it quite frankly, he was PISSED at Hammond! He was stressed and angry and pissed off! You would of been too. He had also, unwillingly, been tasked with the responsibility of looking after Hammond’s grandchildren which made him even more stressed.
