If the legal system was perfect and society overall in various ways not so flawed...

... would male victims of domestic abuse for example at the hands of their wives really TELL, like the film title says they "don't", and would it REALLY be acted on to the point where it all feels correct and right and everyone is happy?

Even in our generally to say the least far from perfect world we live in including today?

Thanks.

What I mean is...

Would men as MEN, like our main character here, still feel an uncertainty or an embarrassment at telling off a WOMAN including one with which they are in a LOVING RELATIONSHIP WITH, despite abusive incidents, to authorities for them having hurt them in any way or for any acts of wrongdoing including but not limited to physical violence?

Even if they are told and taught in general and under a banner of civilized common sense that they SHOULD as opposed to what we often face and hear TODAY about victim common fear of reporting etc, whether to the police (but MOSTLY to it!) or otherwise? Thanks.
