I didn't know Tina had a child before she met Ike

On "Unsung" Ike Turner" they mentioned she had a child before she married Ike in a previous relationship. I don't remember that in the movie.

Yeah it's one of those things they changed for timing I believe. Ike and Tina also don't blow up as quickly as they did in this film. Another thing that was changed was that Tina's mom also left her sister with their grandmother as well. There are also some errors with the song order as well in the film. The kids ages are off as well: Tina's son with the sax player is older than Ike's two kids by Lorraine.

It's been a while since I've seen it but on Tina's Behind the Music it's mentioned she had her first son with their saxophone player. So Ike and Tina have met but she was with another man first.
