This another *beep* John Candy Movie and a Put down on America

It is a disjointed and generally unfunny putdown the U.S. made by an un-American Michael Moore. I am not surprised that this movie practically went straight video and was released over 2 years after it was filmed largely due to Candy's death and the anti-American humor. Moore seems to have such a love affair with Canada. I'm surprised he does not movie there. It is a two star movie at best.

You know by taking this satire seriously you paid Moore the highest compliment possible.

Nothing says good satire than having someone actually take it seriously.

Moron.

Your making the mistake of thinking your more important than you actually are.

I WISH HE MOVE CANADA & STAY THERE FOREVER
Where do you think he should move Canada to?
I'M SICK OF HIM & THOSE VIRUES HE CALLS FLIMS
And what is a virues? I'm really confused by your post.

reply

Wow... The movie is a satire, it's not supposed to be taken seriously. Learn to laugh and until you do go crawl back under the rock for which you came, idiot.

I think he meant viruses he calls films. Yes a virus is a very small thing that can seriously affect the body (politic) and cause all sorts of nasty symptoms, like insights into the darker side of a culture. Personally I wish he'd move Canada down below Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California and take there damned artic cold with them. Then in the summer we'd have nice cool breezes from the south.

Another tirade about being un-American... *sigh* take a lesson from your Canadian neighbours: learn to laugh at yourself, don't take yourself so seriously. As for Michael Moore moving to Canada? We'd love to have him!

reply

I'm also surprised MM doesn't movie to Canada. lol
Don't give em more ammo.

It's a shame the American right wing can't come to terms with the fact that America has problems and that people want to do something about it. If Michael Moore complains about the US and praises Canada for it's gun control or health care, it's because he cares about wanting to make America a better place, not because he's "Un-American." *beep* hell you rednecks, get a clue will you?

"America - love it or leave it!" The biggest standard cop-out cliché in the book.

P.S. Learn to recognise and appreciate satire, it'll really help you get through a lot.
