Is he a racist?
It's easy to think he is when he depicts ALL blacks in his cartoons like that.

A little bit, probably. But he subverts it and uses his talents to troll real racists by making them confront their attitudes, IMO. The way he draws black people seems to be less the way he sees them and more of an image that evokes a reaction that tells you about yourself. But there's a blurry line, because it can also be hurtful to those who experience actual racism should they happen to see those images, so it's a complex discussion.
BTW, he absolutely does not draw all black people like that. If nothing else he published at least one book of portraits of his favorite black blues artists that were obviously drawn with a lot of affection in a realistic style.
