Is Robert Crumb still living on France? does he have any plan to come back to America? And why did he left? Was it for legal problems?

PD: I Think he´s a genius, and a total inpiration for my work.

still in France, comes back to U.S. occasionally, left to escape...America, I think?...doing absolutely lovely, it seems...

He wont be coming back to America this year though. Apparently, he's hit his stride with his Genesis comic. Which is great great news.

he also says that thats not why he went there, it was because his wife was bent on moving to France he, being a fairly passive guy, made no objections.

maybe he went there cause he actually found someone that would give him a house for some drawings
