Questions About Crumb's Pen

I was watching Crumb, and there's that part when he's drawing in that food court. He has this pen that's capable of drawing nice thin lines. Does anyone know what pen he was using?

It's a Rapidograph.

Rapidographs come in tip sizes from 6X0 which is very, very, very fine to about 8 mm wide. They are a great invention. There is a needle that goes in and out of the point (You can see Crumb shake the pen) to keep the ink flowing. They are VERY consistent in line size. We used to use old nib pens that you dipped or dropped ink into and it was adjusted with a screw wheel and it was anybody's guess as to how big the line was going to be.
