Ahead of its time (a few more thoughts)

Love this film. Could rewatch it endlessly. It is just so well done, on every front.

----Holds up well, too, IMO. some complain about the cgi but eh, for 1994 it was top rate and for me its not distracting at all. (Ie, splitting hairs to complain, probably just looking for a gripe.)

----barry levinson, enough said. One of the best ever. Well put together, nice summary of its parts ie casting, music, sets and locations, editing, etc.

----cultural relevance and spectacle..... i recall the massive water cooler buzz at the time of the viewing publics response to the irony of her sexually harrassing him, which added some shock value. At the time shock value was very much in vogue (crying game, usual suspects).

----disclosure gives an excellent facsimile of corporate culture and all its backbiting and rumors and posturing etc.
