The filmmaker had previously maintained the freekland.com movie site for fans. But it's gone! Has there been any official announcement on this point? Did it go with a bang or with a whimper?

I read that Keanu Reeves bought the domain and shut down the site because he was tired of people propagating the rumor that he was in the movie.

I did Freekland- and I have handed it over to Alex for hosting. Ultimately I let the domain lapse thinking it was no big deal and it got snapped up by one of those domain resellers- what the hell they plan to do with that I have no idea!
