Looks like there were alot of "pump" action shotguns used (look like Remington's). Some sawed-off, and some with modified stocks etc., but there's a scene with Baldwin flying thru the air getting off two shots, yet pumping shotgun only once? Also in the elevator shot scene what looks to be a pump shotgun is loaded and fired without being pumped!

shareOh-OK! It seemed at one point they were pumping the shotguns in the standard ratchet form, then other times not, but it's been along time since I saw movie and it's easy to forget that there are auto shotguns out there. Thanks!
shareWell I'm not sure, I didn't pay much attention to the pumping so you may be right, I think that Alec Baldwin had the only automatic shotgun, but I didn't really look for how others handled their shotguns.
shareBaldwin had a Benelli M3 shotgun which has two settings, pump action or semi auto. He will have been using the semi auto function in some places.
shareBenelli M3 is excellent shotgun and very expensive one at that. I saw it at the range shooting by range officer and he could crank that thing off like a automatic shotgun -he kind of look like Baldwin too but a bit 100 pounds heavier.I think this shotgun help make this film much more entertiaing that the Winchestor model 12 that Mcqueen used in the original version (or is it the model 1897 Trench broom ? )
sharei think i'd rather have a winchester 97 though, just because they're so cool. if i had to pick though, i'd go with my trusty 870 any day. shortened down from it's current state of course.
