I'm kind of surprised CinemaSins has never done a Lion King episode before. Anyways, well done as always, these are always a lot of fun. Hopefully nobody on this board takes it too seriously, these videos are done in good fun. The point is to show that any movie can be nitpicked to death if you really want it to be. He's already done my favorite Disney movie Tangled and I found it funny, not insulting.

Yep. I still need to see Tangled!

I never saw Tangled and have no intention of seeing it. I also never saw Frozen and have no interest.

I don't have a problem with them or what they do, but I don't really get it as far as comedy goes. The style of "narrating" poor playing in an attempt to mock the movie is not a substitute for actual joke writing. It just isn't funny because half the time the movie isn't even bad, it's just intentional fumbling.

I also hope they don't think every review of a movie is somehow ripping him off. They hardly invented that.

I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.

I'm glad they kind of hint that Mufasa's death is the best scene in the movie

Some good stuff.

"Manifest destiny".

Gotta understand some history for that one.

Basically, the lions are authoritarian a******s.

Might makes right for them.

"Ah-ha. Um, Nala, didn't we see Kottu the zebra steal a melon from Rafiki?"

"Yes!"

"I saw it too!"

"So did I!"

"Kottu! You have been found guilty by your peers! You are to be executed, and, uh, buried in an unmarked grave at dawn!"

Those books aren't canon, and nor, so far as we can tell, is any of the content.

That video was hilarious. I liked moments where the narrator stated that Simba has never been in a fight and should get his rump kicked and where he stated " Why can't you do something? Why can only the heir to the throne we just now learned was alive do something?" From reading all of those replies I see that Disney is trying to sugarcoat their movies.
