We all knew it was going to happen it was just the matter of when.
I'm still not happy about it though
Well given how much room for improvement there is, this could actually turn out to be quite a good thing. Plus, a live action HD Circle of Life segment would be worth the price of admission on it's own!

I saw it happening. This is after all, one of the most popular Disney/animated films.
Metallica, Iron Maiden and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan.
This could be a chance to expand it into a trilogy, maybe insert some of the Broadway songs, have the Taka backstory, Simba's other sons other than Kiara like Kopa and Kion!
shareYes, I look forward to it myself. As a kid, and still as an adult, it bugged me that Nala went from major character to a very minor one. That they had more ideas for her and dropped it was disappointing. I hope we see more of her.
If the new movie sucks, well, then it sucks. We'll still have the original.
