My cast for the reboot

Obviously, the original cast would be the best, but since that's unlikely...

Mufasa- Honestly, no one can replace James Earl Jones.
Scar- Benedict Cumberbatch
Adult Simba- Oscar Isacc
Young Simba- Ty Simpkins/Caleb McLaughlin from "Stranger Things"
Adult Nala- Lupita Nyong'o
Young Nala- Millie Bobby Brown ("Stranger Things" reunion ftw)
Timon- Billy Crystal/Jason Bateman
Pumbaa- Ray Winstone (with an American accent, maybe)
Sarabi- Danai Gurira/Cate Blanchet
Zazu- Anthony Daniels/Martin Freeman
Shenzi- Again, this one should be kept as the original, Whoopie Goldberg all the way
Banzai- This one can stay the same, too, Cheech Marin
Ed- Bill Hader

Again, the original actors would be best but some have since past, and I doubt that some others would want to do it.

Also, possibly Bill Murray as Pumbaa. He was Baloo so maybe he could be Pumbaa. Either Jada Pinkett Smith or Queen Latifah could be Shenzi.

You do have an interesting cast, but if they are going to do it as a musical wouldn't you want to cast people that can actually sing, since it is a big risk to cast people that have never publicly sang before, and you don't know how that will turn out. Like think Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia! Not that his character snag a lot, but the worst singing job he did for that movie was SOS.
