shareI like to think that Mufasa had policies in place for certain animals to be sacrificed as meat that were fair and merciful. Like, maybe some members of the herds were criminals or sick, or elderly, and didn’t have much longer to live. And maybe his pride made the killing process as quick and painless as possible, and had orders for other predators to do the same and not to take more than they needed.
