Totally underrated

I find this movie to be a perfect and hilarious family movie. The entire movie was funny and charming. It never once bored me and when I'm old ill still watch the whole thing with the same amusement as when I watched it as a kid.

6.3 is too high this movie sucks should be a 3.5 to 4

reply

Cool.

reply

I concur totally.

For the kind of movie it is, well it’s awesome! Call it nostalgia, but even now I find this to be a charming, genuinely hilarious and clever movie (actually find it funnier today). Ed O'Neill is perfect in the role - hilarious as always - and nearly all the kids give legitimately good performances (great comedic timing and chemistry). It’s delightful.

reply

Totally agreed, I remember liking this movie a lot as a kid, I always felt it didn't get the attention that it deserved.

reply

I totally have to agree with you on that, I watched today it for the first time since it came out on VHS and thought it was a very good, wholesome family comedy, I loved Ed O'Neill's performance as the arrogant coach.

Overall I give Little Giants an 8/10

reply

I agree with you on that. I watched this movie plenty of times on video when I was a kid and liked every moment of it.

"SOMEBODY CALL 911!" love that line

reply

I also loved seeing them get back at Kevin and his buddy for peeping on the kids.

reply

That was clever, not gonna lie. Plus I also like Icebox (Becky) since she has flaws and a much better personality compared to modern female characters *cough cough Rey cough cough*

reply

I agree that Icebox did have a great personality and is a character who you can relate to, I just miss the way things were back in the 1990's.

reply

Same here, man. Many movies in that decade were a lot more subtle with the way they handled characters.

reply

The scene where Ed ONeil goes out the window got a legitimate chuckle from me. But yeah this movie is mostly bad.

reply

Are you kidding me? They don't make fun family movies like this anymore. I don't even like football, and I'm not talking purely from nostalgia. I rewatched this recently and it still holds up pretty well, other than some stupid scenes. That's to be expected in a 90s kids movie.

reply

Eh the fart jokes kind of ruined it and the child acting wasn’t very good. Even Rick Moranis looked like he didnt’ want to be there which is odd because he is funny.

reply

Oh yeah, forgot about that stuff, but like I said, there are some stupid scenes. I don't see what was wrong with the child acting, kids seemed a lot better at acting than nowadays. Seemed like everyone had a good time to me. Really like Rick Moranis as an actor.
