Is this movie a cult classic or something?

I almost forgot about this movie, but it seems very popular although it doesn't seem to have made that much money(about 19 million). I don't know what the budget was but I think it was only enough for the movie to break even.

I just know I love it. To me it's the best sports movie aimed for kids. Sandlot comes close though.

I really like it. It's a great movie to watch, and it's fun. I guess you can consider it a cult classic to kids like Sandlot and Mighty Ducks are. I was 7 when I first saw it now I'm 21 so I guess to people around my age it's a favorite.

it's definitely considered a 90's cult classic. It was aimed for 90's kids but also attracted the adults with Ed O'Neill (Al Bundy :D). Rick Moranis, I think, was still really popular from Honey I Shrunk the kids movies. This is one of my most rewatched movies and I still find myself laughing at all the gags and Ed's classic run through the window.
Plus, I became a NY Giants fan partially because of this movie. HA!

In those days movies could have a long life on VHS rentals. My brother and I watched this a million times as kids.

I must become someone else. I must become something else.

I haven't seen this much since the 90's, but I remember liking it.

It was definitely not as successful as the Mighty Ducks movies, although its popularity with 90's kids seems to be very real (I know this was one of my favorites growing up). So yeah, I think it's fair to say that this is a cult classic. In my view, it's one of the funniest kids movies ever.
