becky's mom?
from what i saw of this movie, it never goes into detail about what happened to becky's mom except that she "left them." what does this mean?

sharewho knows... maybe she was shallow... maybe she was not into a life where her husband owned a gas station and didn't do much else. How she could leave her daughter, i have no idea. But i guess it tells something that you never hear abuot her spending time with them. Maybe she really was just a shallow person that wanted out of a life she felt was going nowhere.
