when I was a kid, I always thought becky and jr holding hands at the end and jumping up and down meant that jr sort of was starting to like her, and I really wanted him to kiss her. Now that Im older, I like that he didnt bc it preserved the innocence and I almost hope that they didnt end up getting together bc I think that they really appreciated each other as friends. Jr may have thought debbie was pretty but chances are he got over any crush on her, but prob remained good friends with becky- becky is more special to him for this reason. What does everyone think? Do u think becky and jr. ended up liking each other or was that last scene just showing their great friendship bc of the fact that they didnt kiss?

In my heart, they got together. I was always Becky growing up (hell i still am). And I was sad that they didn't kiss. But I used to like to pretend that they did later, in private :)
