"No women, no kids"

Why pretend at that point?

"I kill strangers for money...b-but I have morals gais!"

reply

I think you are not being open minded enough. Many people kill strangers around the world. Look at Mossad's assassination program. If I were a hitman, I would have a policy like this. Seems perfectly reasonable.

The guys he kills are scumbag criminals anyway. No women, no kids policy is a good policy.

reply

Seems pretty sexist to say that women can't be in control enough or conscious enough to willfully be a criminal.

reply

The Titanic had an Upper Class first, then women and children policy.

Oh, I don't doubt there are women worthy of getting killed. But back to the scenario of the film, It's a man's world, and Leon having such a policy didn't seem out of place to me. If someone were to pay me (it would have to be a lot of dosh) to kill a scumbag guy, sure I would do it. I'd probably add a no women, no kids policy in there for me to sleep well at night.

It is sexist.

But you're acting like he's pretending that he has morals. He's not pretending. He does have a moral code. It's just a sexist one that doesn't happen to match yours. Nothing incoherent about that.

reply

This.

reply

In reality, most professional killers have a code of... no kids, and no people whose political opinions I support.

Fuck women.
