Did you like early/mid 90's fashion?

The clothes in this movie always cracks me up so badly...especially the babydoll dresses and midriff tops. Sadly, that is exactly how I dressed back then (I was 20 in 1994). Babydoll dresses and clunky shoes/Doc Martens were my staples.

I see a lot of those styles for girls coming back around again. It wasn't a good idea the first time around! And I hope to god the unwashed hair look stays away!!

Well, I was a young kid back then, and I thought the fashion in retrospect was awful, but the 90s has some great memories for me, so it cancels out any fashion faux pas.

I was 18 back then and loved the fashion and still do. Being male I never wore a babydoll (well except that one time....) infact my fashion today is the same as back then :D

The 90's was the best!

While there was nothing I liked on Winona in this movie, the things I liked about the early/mid 90s fashion were the dark colours (really can't stand neon) and the flannel tops. *I just hope it doesn't come back so soon because then I'll feel really old since I was 18 in '94)*

I just gave away my “drug rug”, too. There’s an early scene in Leon: The Professional that has one of the hitmen in perfect ‘90’s gear. I used to work with a sound guy in ’95 and he said that he was covering an indy rock fest one time. He named the singer, but pretty much wrote her off because she was wearing a dress with Doc Marten, commenting “like they all do these days.”

Absolutely I like the quasi-Grunge fashions in this flick! (well except for Vickies '70s throwback style)

Probably my favorite outfit that Winona wore were the worn jeans and red top! It was way cute. Sure it showed a little mid-riff but like nothing compared to absolute garbage like contemporary pop tarts like Christina Aguilara.

I would rather see chicks dress like this (a little more *gasp* conservative 'girl next door' style) then imitating Britney Spears or the Sex and City girls.

There are just too many tarts and cougars around now-a-days, disgusting.

I was 14 in '94. I remember wearing doc martins. I remember a flannel top or two over leggings. I mostly wore the short A-line skirts with the stocking that just went up to right past the knees. Remember those? They wear them a lot in clueless. I guess I dressed more like the did in clueless... except like not designer or anything like that!

I loved the store in the mall called Merry-Go-Round. It went out of business though. You guys remember that store??

I was a kid in the 90's so i never got to where the clothes/style they do in this movie and I am glad. 90's fashion was ugly and plain. I look at old magazines and just think how everything looks so unappealing to me. I much rather have 40s, 50s,60s,70s gasp... even over the top 80s over 90s fashion, but thats my opnion. Not to say I dont have nostalgia for that era.

I loved it! I was a freshman in a catholic high school and my clothes of choice were babydoll dresses, and chokers with my clunky Mary Janes. They were so cute I wish I never lost them!

Darling, you can't rape a townie......

90's fashion. Gah! The women looked like they were members of Amish community. But I think Britpop fashion still looks Ok to me. Looking at the outfits worn by Pulp, Suede, they don't look outdated at all. Also, I do miss the times when men looked like real men and not these metrosexual look prevailing in the 00's.

Having been 7 years old in 1994, I remember the fashions of the time, and for the most part, yeah, I like them...a big part of it might be the nostalgia factor, though.

I like you, Um. I like largeness...
