JAMES WOODS!!

Have you ever seen another heel as good as him in the 90s? (Except for Powers Boothe in Sudden Death)

My god, Woods stole the show everytime he's on this movie!!

reply

Woods OWNS this movie. You're right - one of the best 90s heel performances ever. Only one I can think that comes close is Tommy Lee Jones in Under Siege 1.

reply

He is really in line with Christopher Walken. A true legendry actor.

Woods gave a classic OTT performance in this film, but the award for craziest bad guy ever goes to Gary Oldman for his druggo copper Stanfield in Leon. The part where he say to his offsider "Benny, bring me EVERYOOONNEEE!!!" is hands down the maddest, baddest most over the top bad guy line in the history of cinema LOL

reply

Woods was AWESOME! But I still have to give a slight edge to Dennis Hopper for SPEED that year!

Connery, Moore, and Brosnan! Accept NO substitutes!

reply

Woods was better than Hopper in 'speed'. However the screen time for Hopper was less than Woods.

reply

And he's so hot, total eye candy!!

reply

He's awesome as always in this movie. Excellent actor

This movie would never have become such a camp classic w/o Woods' performance! His rants', like in the police station, were priceless. The way he sneers at Tomas and his father as they walk off. He kind of gives them a little smirk from the right side of his mouth.

reply

Woods in this and John Lithgow in Cliffhanger were amazing. They were both ridiculous.

reply

He's so hot and such eye candy..

Ironside, Total Recall
Oldman, Air Force One
Lance Henriksen, Hard Target
Lance Henriksen, Stone Cold

It's by far the worst performance I've seen from Woods. A complete embarrassment.

So I presume he, too, received dollars - in exchange for his dignity as a professional. But hey - gotta get a fix, right? Just one fix.
