The Start is already ridiculous

In the first scene, Woods and Stallone have to assasinate a drug dealer, that they know will cross a bridge in a car.
So what do they do ? They use two timed bombs, that go off at the exact time the jeep is between the two charges.

Because the director thought he had me already deep in suspension of disbelief, he placed Stallone like 5 meters away from one of the charges, which was able to blow up the bridge and the jeep, but didn't harm Stallone of course in anyway.

Might be a worthy movie later on, but I just couldn't watch it any longer.

Yeah, that was a pretty weak part of the film. What's the point of "You're the rigger, I'm the trigger" when you don't even trigger the explosion since the bomb is timed? But hey, it's a Stallone movie!

For all of you out there who are dissin' Sly's performance in this movie--keep in mind Steven Seagal could have been Ray Quick if the studio had the $9 million dollars he wanted to play the character. Stallone acted better and looked hotter. Put Seagal in there and Ray Quick would've looked like a Aikido kicking nutcase out there. It wasn't about martail arts -- it was all about the bombs!! More importantly, Stallone looks better than Seagal with his shirt off!

I didn't even think the bombs in the beginning were on a timer. I thought the bomb would go off when the car went over the bridge. When James Woods said, "He'll never make it," I thought he meant that the car would cross by the time Stallone disconnected every one.
