Netflix Streaming

For those that would like to see the series again, if available in your area, can now watch the entire series on Netflix. So cool, haven't seen alot of these episodes in years, Netflix Instant has been getting some cool material over the last couple of weeks.

reply

Yeah saw it last night. I was hoping for dvd boxset someday. I love this show and still think it is the best based off comic cartoon.

It would be nice for a DVD series set, but at least it's a step in the right direction, with Netflix Instant having the complete series. As of now, you can only buy season 1 on Itunes.

reply

Actually another way to watch the episodes is to go to Marvel.com. They have full episodes of everything Marvel. I have been watching both the X-Men series that came out in the 90's and this. It is really great! It's completely free, and each episode only has one commercial right before it even starts!

reply

Finally!!!! I just saw it on Netflix streaming!! I have been waiting to watch this show again for a very long time. This series is my favorite Spider-Man seires and now I can watch it again!!

reply

This is awesome. But how can Netflix stream it when it's not out on DVD? They have all the old 90's cartoons on here right now: X-Men, Silver Surfer, Hulk, Iron Man, even Spider-Man Unlimited.

Hopefully enough people watch it and they decide to put it out on DVD.

reply

I assume they go through the same process as the material that is available on disc, whether Netflix has a copy of the disc or not. Netflix has other movies that's not on DVD like an Action movie called "Into the Sun" with Anthony Micheal Hall and a horror movie called "Mom" from the 90s. I actually prefer the streaming like that, as much as I like the vast collection of titles, I think the streaming should be more for TV shows even if it's on disc, discontinued titles, titles that's only on VHS, as well as titles that aren't yet on Blu-Ray but has an HD master like "Showdown in Little Tokyo" with Brandon Lee.

What's the point of posting this?

Little fun fact... when the show premiered it had a pilot-specific intro that only contained clips from, I believe, the first four episodes only. Then there was a season 1 intro. Then the season 2 intro the next year. And for whatever reason, all the season 1 episodes have the season 2 intro now in syndication... except episode three (The Spider Slayer) seems to be the only episode on Netflix that has the original season 1 intro.

reply

I wondered why the intro changed, then reverted back. It's like the "Stargate SG-1" series on DVD, all episodes except one had the syndicated season intros. It was the Season Finale of either year 3 or year 4 that had the original Showtime intro.

reply

I think at some point, they were probably all changed for syndication after the show ended... but someone probably just forgot to change that one episode, or they grabbed a different master to use for streaming.

reply

I wish the show had a specific intro for every season. I Love the theme, but it's kind of weird that during the Forgotten Warriors arc we still see Blade and Morbius and the Hobgoblin in the intro.

Then he had his... HIS LIGHTS OUT!! NOW YOU WANNA GET NUTS?!! COME ON, LET'S GET NUTS!!!

reply

anyone notice the first episode of season 4, "Guilty" is missing the last 5 minutes? It randomly ends after they show Tombstone...

reply

Yes... it is quite annoying. I recorded the entire series along with Spider-Man Unlimited off of my PS3 on to my computer and that's the only incomplete episode I have. Sent a problem report to them, but I doubt anyone is going to change it anytime soon unless they get flooded with them.

reply

I haven't gotten that far. That sucks big time.

reply

Just checked now and the episode itself was taken down. Perhaps they are in the process of correcting it.

reply

I hope so, because it's not like you can get the series on DVD. Yet?!

reply

Episode is back now. Looks like it is fixed.

reply

Sweet. Here's hoping by the time I get there, nothing else goes missing.

reply

I think they have taken these off of netflix they have been gone a while now
