The obligatory MJ or Felicia/Black Cat thread

Yeah they were cartoon adaptations of comic book characters but what the Hell - who would you rather have, Mary-Jane Watson or Felicia Hardy/Black Cat?

reply

I really liked Felicia in the cartoon series more than MJ. MJ was boring and Spiderman seemed to have more fun with Felicia/Black Cat.

reply

I liked Felicia Hardy more. She was just a better character. Like Spider-Man, she had two sides to her, and both were much more interesting than MJ.

Monsieur Shaftoe, this ballroom does not seem to agree with you. I do believe you should not be invited back.

Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, hands down.
She was very complex and interesting, not to mention that she was drawn very sexily.

And let's not forget Felicia Hardy/Black Cat had the lovely vocals of Jennifer Hale, greatest voice actress of her generation.

reply

Yeah. I wish I could find a picture of what she looked like in the 90s.

Good point. She also provided the voice of Electra in the Cowboy Bebop movie, who was somewhat similar to Black Cat, as they are both beautiful tough as nails gals who interact with the main character.

Some of her scenes with Spike (When Spike is posing as a janitor inside Cherious Medical, and when Spike and Electra are in the Cherious Medical jail) are really great. Somewhat short, but very memorable.

Of course you should fight fire with fire. You should fight everything with fire.

Hard to say. They were both hot, but Felicia was rich spoiled brat who'd have ended up getting on my nerves.

Deep red hair vs. toned fitness model physique ... I can't choose between 'em!

I'm Laura Bertram's husband in another universe.

reply

I'd take Black Cat before either of them, I know that.

I'am going to opt for Mary-Jane. She's a bit more sympathetic.
