Borias - where did he come from?

A while back someone here suggested Borias is a Hun. However "Borias" means Northern Wind in Greek (Vorias - emphasis on "as).

Physically, he looked close enough to a Hun - except maybe for the lack of their trademark thin, wispy beard. He viewed the Centaurs as allies which could be associated with the importance of horses to the Huns (displayed in the episode "In Sickness and In Hell" - those Scythians were steppe nomads just like the Huns).

However, I don't recall ever seeing him use a bow - which is a Hun trademark. And as I said his name is Greek. He was an average horse rider - again, horses were the lifeblood of the Huns who were unmatched in riding skill.

The wiki claims Xena encountered Borias in Hungary which was his home country, though I don't remember this ever being mentioned anywhere in the show.
