EPISODE LYRE LYRE HEARTS ON FIRE

After all these years I finally watched the episode Lyre Lyre Hearts On Fire again. I know that it's been removed from both the DVDs and Netflix On Demand episodes. It's good to see that they allowed it to air on TV as a re-run. I saw it Heroes & Icon Channel on basic TV. Loved it. It's not as meaningful or as deep as The Bitter Suite but it was a fun feel good musical episode.

I love Xena/Gabby/Joxur's version of War What Is It Good For, Xena's version of Sisters Doing It For Themselves, Xena playing an electric guitar riff to the theme of her own theme music, the Draco VS Xena rap battle and the finale People Just Wanna Be Free. Sure they were covering copyright songs but who cares. They did a terrific job. I also love Joxur's fabulously gay brother Jace.

Great episode!

I meant the Netflix on Demand. I have the Netflix DVDs versions. It's not there. I was told that they removed the episode due to music copyright infringement.

Netflix sucks, buy the series boxset, you won't regret it.

Uhhh no songs have been removed or anything like that. They did however sadly delete Xena from Netflix about 2 months ago. BUT it's super cheap to buy on iTunes ($5 a season) so it's almost better to buy it, and own it if you're a fan!
