Why is the batsuit refered to as a "Panther suit"?

That's Schumacher's way of sexualizing Batman.

Schumacher isn't the only director to sexualize Batman: when the '89 movie was about to come out, someone asked Tim Burton why he made the costume's ears so long and Burton replied that he thought the longer ones were the sexiest.
