The actress who played Trudy was Joe Pesci's ex-wife, who later got remarried. Apparently, her second husband wasn't to her liking either, so she hired a hit man to whack him.
He survived. So she hired a second hit. It failed, and she got caught.
She's now finishing up a 12-year sentence and is due to be released in the next year or two.
