Definitely Heat.

I like Casino, even if to me its like a comedy how absurd so many scene are, but this is just another gangster movie.

Heat, was just an excellent action packed heist movie, with one of my favorite actors, Tom Sizemore, and I think the only time we've ever seen a young Danny Trejo.

Heat by a landslide. Even though I think Heat gets fawned and drooled over a bit too much...it is a great movie. And it has the stylized treatment of Michael Mann to boot.

Casino is incredibly overrated, and just a fuckin disturbing movie. Not sure how anyone could watch that desert beating scene and say they enjoyed that movie. It made me sick, and Ill never watch it again.

I think the better question might be: Heat or Collateral (another Michael Mann film...underrated.... one of Tom Cruise’s best.....and about the only time he plays a “badguy”). Just a damn cool film.

IMO Casino is better and has a tighter script

Heat was pretty great but the family drama stuff was a big boring turnoff

Explosive crime stories should focus on the bad men and the officers pursuing them, I don't care about anyone's wife or kids

High octane car chases (like in The Seven Ups!) shootouts, betrayals and rough guys pulling schemes and duking it out is what I like to see

The ending of Michael Mann's Thief was a fine ending to a great movie, Cann just burnt everything down

Casino had a tragic ending, That's about right for these
crazy crime

True indeed, I like both films a lot.

But I personally prefer "Heat" more. Even more than that, its my favorite film of 1995, quite possibly my favorite Michael Mann film (or in his top 2 at least, ties with "Thief" (1981) ), one of my twenty favorite films of the 90s and among my top 50 all-time favorite films ever.

Casino.

Heat was great til the end. DeNiros character should’ve disappeared at the airport. Leaving Pacino standing there with nothing but his dick in his hand. Roll Moby.

Casino mostly kept me interested for the whole haul. Heat had it's moments that didn't catch my attention. Al Pacino's character in Heat however was waaaaaaay favored by me over Rothstiens in Casino.
