I loved this movie, but three things that were unbelievable to me
1. That they didn't know the son was deaf until he was well past one year old. Hearing tests are usually performed on newborns, and certainly by pediatricians during routine visits.
2. I've seen a lot of high school bands and none of them ever sounded close to as good as this one.
3. I timed Mr. Holland's American Symphony, and it was all of 3-1/2 minutes long.
