what does daniels mean when he says ''if they destroy the town the HAVE their weapon`` wouldnt the virus rather disappear if they destroy it???
i do understand thers a ''market'' for stuff like that andthe covering up part but what the hell????

The infection locally to where they bombed would disappear but not the virus. They already have the virus from previous occasions. That is how they had the antidote for the initial virus before the mutation.

By bombing everyone who has the virus is wiped out and now the risk of the vaccine being widespread has been lessened. If the vaccine gets out (they would have to use the vaccine if they didn't bomb the down), then the biological weapon is useless.
Also it would look bad if the public found out that Sutherland and Freeman knew about the virus for decades.
They already had the previous virus which was their weapon. The "Orange juice" insures they have the cure. If they wipe out the town they wipe out the current virus and destroy the evidence. They still have their original strain.
