...now that the hubbub about the outbreak has died down. Weren't we all supposed to die from ebola?

I think we'd all be a little less cavalier if Ebola was airborne. Honestly, I'd be freaked if something like ebola was airborne. But we were relatively prepared and in the least bit willing to take on ebola when it hit our shores. Its still a scary disease. if introduced to a certain diverse population of people (ie full on symptoms at a airport or major tourist attraction) the atmosphere would change for a while. It would make or break a lot of communities.
