Is this the movie where the chickens all die?

When I was younger, I was staying the night at a friends house because my mom was away. My friend insisted on watching a movie with the "adults" (I was in grade 1 or 2) and all I remember is chickens just bleeding horribly and all dying, and a family at a table and they all start getting sick. Someone tries to call out and s/he starts bleeding all over the phone ....

The point is, I've had nightmares/paranoia/dread about this movie and the possibility that I could just bleed out and die for no reason ever since. I feel like if this is the right movie, that I should re-watch it to exacerbate my fears.

Is this the right movie?

That sequence isn't actually from a film but an excellent television series from the late nineties called Millennium starring Lance Henriksen.

It was the opening to the final episode from season 2 of the show where a strain of the marburg virus infects half the population of the country. It begins on a farm with the chickens and then spreads to the family who contract the disease shortly thereafter.

The episode was titled "The Fourth Horsemen" I believe.
