No, even though that's what your words literally convey, I'm pretty sure that's not what you meant. Let's move your "only" and try again:

"I seem to remember only the rape, but in fact I remember the other scenes as well."

Hmm, that doesn't look too promising either. Let's try just once more:

"[It seems that] I remember only the rape."

Aha. That sounds much closer to what an ordinary, but perhaps not overly careful, writer of English would mean by those words.

And in the context of this thread, it should mean that even though the OP expressly described "the part where [Rob] Roy comes home and wakes his wife up from a dream of being ravished by a 'silkie'," you still don't remember it -- which, on the face of it, is such an astonishingly, mind-bendingly stupid thing to say that any charitable reader would think you just hadn't read the other posts carefully.

Now, if you're trying to tell me you really meant that the rape scene was the only "sex scene" you personally found to be all that memorable, then of course that's what you should have said in the first place. Even if you had, it would still have said more about you than about the film, but at least you'd have used words that meant what you wanted to convey.
