What the hell are you talking about? The black soldier in the Bogart version is played by a black actor, not a white guy in blackface. Please explai9n your comment, if you can.

I actually liked this version better.
Wasn't too fond of the Bogart one. To each is own.
The black soldier in the 1943 version is played by Rex Ingram, who plays the genie (Djinn) in Sabu's version of The Thief of Bagdad.
