They ever release a third movie in this series?

I just want to clarify that Brayker, and later Jeryline, IS the "demon knight?" Billy Zane is NOT the "demon knight?" Correct?

Also, did they or will they, ever make a third movie in this series? All that was ever released was Demon Knight & Bordello Of Blood? Correct?

Correct. Zane played the high level demon. The knights or "Demon Knights" were the ones chosen to carry and protect the key from the demons. Brayker and Jeryline were just two knights in a long line of Demon Knights. The key was passed from knight to knight over thousands of years, much like a torch in a marathon.

Even though Bordello Of Blood (1996) had the key from the original movie in it, it really wasn't a sequel. It has a completely different storyline set around the existence of vampires. Personally, I don't consider Bordello Of Blood a sequel.

Ritual (2001) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0250698/ is supposed to be considered the third movie in the trilogy. Though, like Bordello, really has no connection to Demon Knight. Not even the key, since it was destroyed in Bordello.

I really wish they would make a true sequel to Demon Knight, where the actual storyline revolved around the eternal battle between the Demons and Demon Knights. But at this point, I doubt that will ever happen.

I remember watching Ritual and thinking "This is the most racist movie I've ever seen". Terrible terrible movie.

Really funny you say that, since Fat Tuesday/Dead Easy (which would have been after Demon Knight, hence the credit scene) was pulled from release and shelved indefinitely over concerns of it being racist.

And they couldn't edit the film a bit?

I like RITUAL though. Just wish the Crypt-Keeper had more screen time.

This would make an excellent series. The basic premise is loose enough that you could go anywhere with it and keep it fresh, movie to movie. Shame nothing ever happened with it.

I totally agree. There's just something I love about this movie, and I was real disappointed that they never continued on with Jeryline's story in the so called "sequels".

Well, I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's depressing.....

I just want to say that is not the impression I got from it. I think The Collector was a Demon Knight. I am going by the most practical use on the terminology. A knight was considered a noble (although sometimes low on the totem pole). That in itself makes him a little higher up than your average demon. He makes note of this when he tells Jeryline that "That eyeball *beep* only works on the lower variety of demons". I also believe that Brayker, in his recap, made it very clear that he was Not a knight.

Aside from that, I loved this movie. I saw it in the theater when it came out and wanted more instantly. Billy Zane was great.

I actually never even knew this movie existed. Is there somewhere I can stream it on the internet?

They never produced a second movie. Bordello of Blood isn't the second movie in the trilogy that was planned.

I think the trilogy was just meant to be three TFTC movies, not a Demon Knight trilogy. In the trivia section for Bordello of Blood it says that movie was the second part of a trilogy.

You're on, Schrader. (Trick 'r Treat)

There was supposed to be a trilogy and if i remember what my entertainment weekly said back in the mid ninties the 2nd was going to be called "body count", and bordello was to be the 3rd, again, if i remember correctly. It was actually a good interview with Robert Zemeckes (i think i spelled his name wrong). I'll dig up that issue and get back to ya.
