"OK everybody, time to come out and play...

*arrow into eyeball* ...or not."

Heh, funny thing is that I don't have sh!t to say, I just wanted to be the only one (or first one at least) to post something. Who knows if anyone will follow my lead...

Actually, I do feel obligated to say a few words - I thought this movie kicked ass. Billy Zane is the man; I wish he'd pick more cool projects like this though. Great acting from Sadler and Pinkett too. I liked how in the beginning you didn't know who was the bad guy... well, until Zane put his fist thru the sheriff's head! Shooting eyes of the demons to kill them? Brilliant. It was also pretty crazy how the Collector warped reality and tried to lure people with illusions. Anyway, Zane was simultaneously powerful, smooth and funny; easily the best part of the movie.

They should bust out another Tales movie that's more like this one to make up for Bordello of Blood. Sorry Dennis, love the show but the movie thing's not really workin' out, babe.

BEST....BILLY.....ZANE......MOVIE.....EVER. WHY DOESN'T HE WORK MORE? The man's a great actor and is clearly having the most fun here. Yeah, I'd love to see another Tales From The Crypt movie. Perhaps with Zane's Collector character resurrected. What better way to make people forget about Bordello of Blood than by bringing back the best character from Demon Knight? There was a slight hint of a sequel at the end of this anyway, with that new collector at the bus door (played by Clifton Powell, as I recall). How about a movie with two collectors? Can you imagine how much fun it would be with Zane back and the second collector teaming up in a sequel in a last destructive quest for the key? Huge f***ing fun is what it would be!!!

ahh, its great 2 see that this classic has a message board. I love this movie, 1 of my fav. Horror films.
Then again, I loved BORDELLO OF BLOOD as well. Dennis Miller at his best!

There needs to be more Crypt movies right now. Its better then the recent crap that Hollywood is releasing.

I have to agree this was the most entertaing movie for its time... love the billy zane character... over the top but yet serious in his own way. I would love to see this movie continued. with prequels and after effects. Bordello was lame but i still like the tie in with Knight. where the little person pulls out the item from Knight and tells a character. You dont get out much do ya.

But never the less its like hollywood needs big stars to push movies. And they usually end up sucking. Me and a friend thought up a good idea for a another tales movie. "how bout a movie that tells about the CryptKeeper. You know how he came to be. That would be fantastic..... if done properly. Cause if i remember correctly there like three of them. One for each Horror comic. but anyways// Kudos to all the people in the film. And we do have to say the Soundtrack was kicking too...... This one is going directly into my library.. 10/10. simple story which builds to complex story /// Hollywood directors need to learn that lesson by watching this film.

He was humming some tune while looking into the rooms "tum-tuum-tuum, anybody home? Come on out everybody, it's time to play!! Hello?" *arrow impales head* "or not!"
That's one of the best delivered lines ever! Along with "*beep* this cowboy sh!t! You *beep* ho-dunk, po-dunk, well then there mother*beep*s!"

Zane should've never done the Phantom, if it weren't for that then he'd have more leading roles.

abso-frikkin-LUTELY!!! billy zane MAKES this movie. the part where he offers roach the sponge to clear up the blood seal?? beyond smooth!!!

i saw this movie when i was about 12 - i thik it influenced my love affair with horror. and you guys are right...there should be a few more of the 'tales...' series made into movies. one of my fave episodes is 'the reluctant vampire' with malcolm mcdowell. brilliant!!

I'm glad that they at least made one movie, I was never thirsty for more. Tales from the Crypt doesn't have too many good episodes, only a handful if any. Most are stupid actually. The show's trademark was the host, not the content.
