So I haven't watched my DVDs for this in a long time. (I got them when they were released and had the talking chip inside the outer sleeve.) This is the episode where sally moves to the apartment above the garage and tommy and Alissa babysit. Is it just me or does Kristen Johnson sound like she was getting over being sick or just starting be sick (cold/flu or laryngitis)? Her voice is super raspy sounding. Just seeing if I was the only one that noticed

I just saw this episode on Netflix and I agree. I think she maybe strained her voice on the previous episode before the house that dick built. That's the one where she and the land lord's daughter went to the floating casino and she was yelling a lot in that show. This is just my guess. Who knows how much yelling was going on during different takes in that show. That also happened to Julia Louis-Dryfus (Elaine) on Seinfeld, when she was yelling at the dog (not sure if you are a fan of the show). She also sounded the same way as Kristen Johnston.

It is funny you mention that because I noticed during I believe season 4 where she looks like her face is really bloated. She still looks beautiful, but it was noticeable. Then after a few episodes her face goes back to normal. I was wondering if she was sick during that time because the bloating was so noticeable.
