Those kids never passed physics

I love that Dick's students were always the same.

Yeah, unfortunately they were forced to stay in college well into their 30s. It was especially disturbing in season 5, in the spring break episode LOL

Yeah, haha. He was such a bad teacher.

I loved those scenes. They were always so funny . That could of been a show by itself

What makes you think that English is their first language?

And many folks, believe it or not, do say "could've" in a way that sounds exactly like "could of." Phonetically they are almost identical. Or exactly identical depending upon regional dialect. And we are taught from the start to rely first upon phonetics. This is how words and phrases actually have evolved to give us one of the most useful languages ever devised.

And while I'm one that prefers to at least attempt to speak coherently, I do not see a need to be a dick about it to others as you have. But to answer your question, basic grammar is difficult. Besides, I'd say what the poster did was not a grammar issue. But a spelling issue.

Fair enough. Grammar.

And I can see why you have no need to address the rest of the post.

But even so, you can correct folks and help them without the seemingly overwhelming need to express yourself as a prick and taking very cheap shots at folks. But then again, maybe you cannot. Maybe it is not seemingly, but a certainty. Pity really. Enjoy your feeling of superiority. It will not last since it is not real.

Have a good life.

I quote you:
"And while I'm one that prefers to at least attempt "
I detect a split infinitive there.
However it's probably better to split an infinitive than to split an atom.

True. With that notion in mind, it's probably a good time to start hoarding all of the 'Learn Chinese' materials that we can find.
