Cobras and A-10s
In the film it shows the downed helicopter crews being supported by AH-1 Cobras and A-10s dropping napalm, where did the filmmakers get hold of these?
shareThere is a civilian company that owns and is licensed to rent disarmed Cobra helicopter gunships to movie productions. They were genuine. The weapons systems atached to them, of couse, were mock-ups.
The A-10's in the film, however, were not real A-10's. They were either mocked-up civilian aircraft or scale models.
