Rashomon and Courage
I just caught this movie on cable. I had seen it before but never made the connection that it is similar to the Kurosawa classic before. Would I be wrong to make the connection? I mean, at their cores, they are two movies about conflicting points of view during a time of intense crisis. (Of course, as I'm writing this, I can see the absurd IMDB style debate comparing the vagaries of the two movies. All I'm saying is, is there a connection?)
