Was Charlie the biggest baby ever?

D2: They are completely sponsored and given a once in life time opportunity to represent their country.

(Charlie starts whining because they aren't the Ducks.)

D3: They get a full scholarship to a high level prep school. Can't imagine how much the tuition must cost to go there. Not many opportunities in life like this comes around, and most would you thrilled to get a high level education for free, especially if you don't have much money.

(Charlie starts whining because they are called Warriors).

He also whines about Orion for the first half of the movie because Orion is actually coaching him to play real hockey.

I'm surprised he didn't have a duck logo tattooed to his face.

Imagine if he got drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins. I can already see his reaction.
"I'm not a Penguin, I'm a Duck"!! Wah wah wah!!

Orion said it best in the movie.
"Well, it's time to grow up"

If there is one thing, this movie does give a bad message. If you're getting something for free, you shouldn't complain and just be appreciative about it.

It does remind me of a time back in college, where there was this generous kid that treated us all to chicken. When the chicken got to our dorms, one spoiled kid was pissed off because he prefers boneless chicken, and started chewing out the kid who bought it. Said, "The store you went to had a boneless chicken option, why the F would you be stupid enough to buy the ones with bones in it?".

reply

LOL! That prissy little bitch couldn't eat around the bones?

Yeah seriously wanting to be called "The Ducks" over "Team USA" was the stupidest thing ever. I felt this movie had a good thing going with the "growing up" theme but then it just abandoned it and let them be the Ducks again for some reason.
