(little) inconsistencies between this and EFNY

Obviously this movie wasn't meant to be taken too seriously, and neither is this thread. Just some trifling bull *beep* I noticed.

1.) Snake is back! And Snake's jacket is back too. How'd that happen?

Last time we saw it was while he was piloting the glider into New York. He gets out without it on, and it's never seen again. Safe to assume he left it in the cockpit and it got pushed off the WTC, and thus, the jacket did not ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK.

Yet in Escape From L.A., he's got it on again. Does Snake have a whole closet full of identical badass jackets?

2.)Snake's Snake tattoo is different...for no logical reason? Boo! HISSsssss.

3.)Why do they refer to him as Bob? His name's Bob? Thought it was S.D. (whatever that stands for) Plissken.

So now we got Fresno Bob, Bob Hauk, and Snake "Bob" Plissken. What is this; "Bob"bing for crapples?

Plus, this opens up the possibility that Snake has said at some point "Call me Bob" or, when angry, "The name's BOB!" His name is Snake, goddammit. Or Plissken. Take your pick. Not Bob, or Bobby, or Robby, or any of that other *beep* Leave well enough alone and call him Snake! P-(

RE: Bob

There was almost ANOTHER Bob! In the original script of LA, there was a mexican character name "Pendejo Bob" who was some sort of leader of the underground that helps Snake at the end of the film. He got cut. Google it and see!

Carpenter must just like the name Bob.
